Jerk in the elevator

So I live in an apartment building, 17 floors w/2 elevators. One was out of service yesterday. There's a bunch of people waiting for the good elevator, more than can fit. Fortunately I was one of the few who got there first. As the door opened, and since there is no "line", people naturally started to swarm the door, ducking and weaving their way into the elevator. By the time I got in the door, I was one of the last few who crammed into the limited space.

Then this guy behind me(about in his 30's and not out of shape by any standards) cuts in front of this old lady by nudging her aside and steps in taking the last spot. He proceeds to press the button for the 3rd floor(there's no 2nd floor btw). I'll admit, normally I'm a wimp who avoids confrontation but this was too much. I noticably pushed him aside as I stepped out to give her my spot, and he gives me a look. I immediately headed for the stairs went up 2 flights just in time to meet him as he stepped off the elevator. I say something along the lines of "20 steps too hard on you chief?" and continued to stare him down as he silently walked to his door.

Since I didn't recognize him and he knocked on the door, he was probably a visitor which I guess is a good thing since once I've calmed down would not have the balls to look him in the eye again in the future.😱 After that I didn't felt like waiting another 10 mins for the next elevator so I walked the rest of the way up to my apartment which was on 13. Good thing my blood was pumping from the encounter which made the trek easy else I'd be sweating my ass off by the time I got up.

Cliffs:
-One elevator down, one good in a 17 story building.
-Too many people to fit in elevator when it arrived
-Guy nudges old lady aside to take last spot, press button for 3rd fl.
-I push him aside to give her my spot
-Took stairs and met guy on 3rd floor
-Gave him a piece of my mind and went home.

Can't say it on the radio so please don't put it in the titles

I hate elevators for that reason alone. I deliver to high rise condos, and as a general rule of thumb, try to take the stairs for anything 4 flights or less. Not worth the hassle to deal with people, usually get there faster :/

Could've been worse; it could have been Nas. After all, he is the type of ***** that be pissin' in your elevator. But yeah, you should've hid on one side of the elevator doors when he stepped out, then Kung Fu'd his ass to the floor and run off.

I'm guessing "jerk" was originally a more colorful descriptive noun.
