It was an interesting concept, but a lot of the execution was just plain silly. I watched a few of them, but found myself fast forwarding through much of each episode to bypass the stupidity.

I only watched the show on cbs.com where I only had to endure 1 commercial per break and even then I could just turn the volume off on my headphones and not have to hear it. Decent show but, I won't be shedding any tears over its disappearance.

First season is over. Last week was the season (and it appears series) finale.

Yeah... that is a REALLY crappy way to end the show!

I totally wanted to see Hawkins take on that train with the tank :)

Great show!

Watched it on, Comcast OnDemand service. Still have 3-epsiodes to go I think.

That long break sucked hard and for us Gen X'ers who grew up in the late 70's and 80's under the spectre of the cold war and movies like Red Dawn and the Day After this fits right in!

I haven't seen the last few episodes of Jericho yet but I think NBC's Surface had a doozy of a series finale cliff-hanger. The coast of Carolina had just been hit by a tsunami and flooded miles inland with giant sea monsters swimming through the streets as four of the main characters hid in a church bell tower.

It really pissed me off when I heard the show was canceled because I wanted to see what happened after that.

It was canned because it gives the sheep way to many ideas on what to do when the govment is no more. The overlords can't have that now can we.

I think I already said this back in the pro Jericho thread. The show started fine, but fell apart when they could not keep the story cohesive. The show was designed with almost a mini series frame of mind.

The middle episodes were garbage! All they did was jump from one issue to another and left plot holes you could drive a truck into. We will never know why only China air dropped supplies to them or even why they did that. I would also like to have known who the US launched ICBM's back at. Notice the plot change? That would alienate viewers for sure.

I never watched it. I'm sure it was a good show if you watched from the start but it definately didn't really interest me.

You guys are complaining that Jericho left too many things open while you have no issues with shows like Lost? Jesus, Jericho is barely in its first season!

Most episodes are centered around a crisis that is only a crisis because it is taking place after the bombs fell.

Plus Skeet Ulrich is about as good an actor as Pauly Shore.

What does this even mean? You are explaining how a show works: There's a plot.

A lot of proles have never heard of this, but it was the best series on tv, easily beating out 24 (which this season has sucked in the last few episodes worse than it could suck if I wrote the script and tried to make it suck) and Lost, and others.

Jericho is a quite masterful series, but the proles did not enjoy it because their minds are small (that's what I think).
