Jericho Season 1 recap

Starting tonight at 9pm a truncated re-air of season 1 for those that missed the NUTs craze the first time.

Next week will be a 2hr starting at 8, remaining airs are 1hr at 9. (CBS)

No new episodes mean this is a waste of time. I started watching halfway through the season. I didn't watch one episode on TV. I saw them all on cbs.com. That way you only have to sit through one advertisement every 15 minutes or so.

This is only a waste of time for those of us who watched it all year long.

They realize they lost a lot of viewers when they broke it up halfway through the season, and now they are trying to build it back up before the next season starts.

I thought that it was canceled already and that they weren't bringing it back? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Ya, they've realized their error with the long split in between the first and second half of the season.

The first ep was the bomb drop one, next weeks 2 hour show is the recap of the first season followed by the first episode of the second half.

The season 1 dvd should be coming out around september and the shows producers said it was gonna have a lot of good extras, but I haven't seen any details yet.

They didn't lose viewers because of the break, they lost viewers because the first half of the season after episode 2 contained nothing but stupid episodes that reminded me of Full House episodes.... let's see, I remember... girl has a party, library catches on fire, someone steals the ranch's horses, grocery woman is profiteering, criminals pose as cops. Oh, and I think there might have been an episode about nuclear bombs being dropped, but it was apparently just written in as an afterthought.

The show should have been the best new show this year but it had third rate writers.

And yet it was the first or second new show of the year to receive a full season renewall and was in the top 20/30 of ratings during the fall portion.

It will probably start as soon as one of the new shows gets canned. With the way contracts works, they've only guranteed 7 new episodes, but based on the success once it re-airs it is open ended for more shows.
