one could win a million in just one show.

36,000 is available first round + 2 daily's for theoretical max of $144,000

72,000 is available second round and 2 daily's for theoretical max of $288,000

$432,000 and max out Final = $864,000

Actually it would be $35,600 theoretical max for the first round since there is one Daily Double and it would be taking the place of a dollar amount.

(200+400+600+800+1000) x 6 - 200 = $17,800 x 2 (Daily Double) = $35,600.

Double Jeopardy is twice that and has two Daily Doubles replacing two dollar amounts.

Assuming one enters Double Jeopardy with the max from round 1 of $35,600, answers all questions correctly and hits the two Daily Doubles last, they could enter Final Jeopardy with $283,200.

Then they can double again in Final Jeopardy and win a maximum of $566,400.

Yes, the Daily Doubles are randomly placed within each category. But as a rule, you never find them on the first clue, usually at the third, fourth or fifth one. Also, I would like to see Jeopardy change it's rules on bets.
Right now, you can bet anything from $1 to what you have on a Daily Double. It should be a Minimum Bet of the Clue's value on the board if it was not a Daily Double.

WTF? Double jeopardies are randomly placed are they not? There's no point in guessing randomly...

I am pretty sure the double jeopardy squares are NEVER the first clue and very rarely do they occur on the second clue of the category. Guessing randomly would yield better chances than always picking the first clue in each category.
