Jennifer Capriati

I hope she wins Wimbledon but she had a tough match against Serena. Venus will probably be even tougher.

BTW, it's kind of weird that she is considered "old" at 25. To me that still is a very young girl.

Venus is on a completely different playing level than Serana. So yes, she has a hard road ahead of her. 🙂

<< Capriati will loose to one of the sisters no matter what. >>

You have some inside information? She defeated Serena and there is every possibility that either she or Venus could be eliminated before they meet each other in the final. Davenport is capable of beating either Capriati or V Williams.

Yeah, Venus is playing much better than Serena. What's weird is that in the beginning everybody was saying that Serena was going to be the better player and that Venus was too gangly. 🙂

I have always like Venus and the way she performs on the court. She will not be eliminated, and if Jen makes it, well I feel sorry for Jen because its going to be a draining match for her.

I'm not much of a Tennis watcher, but I did see Jennifer win the French Open. I was impressed, so I would have to go for her 🙂 and shes cute too 🙂

danny~!

You really have to respect the way Capriati came back today. She had 3 chances to win the first set and blew it. She obviously let it get her down and was on the verge of elimination when she dug in and broke Williams to win the second. Then she just went on a tear to take the third. She's tough. And not just on the court. Remember, she had another little comeback called her life. I really don't know if you could find another woman at Wimbledon who's as mentally tough and who has as much belief in themselves as Capriati does right now.

I think this is because Capriati was a good tennis player when she was 17. She was like the biggest weapon the US had to stop Graf (Graf was the queen of tennis). But She was addicted to drugs and went to rehab until a few years ago decided to come back and she did the come back really fantastic. I was a tennis maniac and follow all the news about it at that time. I don't watch tennis as much as I was but I know Capriati was a damn good player. I haven't seen her playing these days. As for Venus and Serena, Venus is much better player. I hope Venus and Capriate in the final.

Hey DannyLove - If I had a girlfriend that looked like "yours", I don't think I'd be looking at J Capriati... 🙂 Nice pictures of who ever it is!!

I hope Jennifer wins it all too. I think Venus can be beat. I hope that Davenport beats her and it is a Capriati vs. Davenport final.

What do you guys think of the mens bracket. With Sampras out I think it will be an Agassi vs Ivanisevic(Or Safin) final. Safin is playing damn good tennis, I just want Goran to make it to the finals.

<< Jennifer has just beaten Serena!!! >>

Woohoo! I really hope she gets the Grand Slam. It'd be the comeback story of all time, right behind Lance Armstrong's.

Raven82,

I assume by your comments, you must be perfect and have NEVER made a mistake in your life. I got two words for ya, screw you.

Bullseye, Slippery. You beat me to it. What an ignorant comment, raven.

No crap, how does a little pot smoking make you a drug addict? She was just a kid who made mistakes. She paid for them, and got her life turned around.

BTW, didn't Jennifer beat both the Williams sisters at either the Aussie or French open?
