Jem gained massive popularity thanks to her guest appearance on Season 1 Episode 27 of Fox's "The O.C.", (if you'll notice carefully, she is seen singing in the background before Ryan & Marissa come into view as Ryan asks her to dance with him). For those interested, the song she is singing is "Maybe I'm Amazed", which was originally performed by Paul McCartney.

Bought the CD after hearing a couple of songs.

As it turned out, those were the best two songs, the rest of the CD was king of mediocre.

Nonetheless, I like the CD. I'd not spend more than $10 for it if you haven't bought it yet.
