Louisiana went about 60%/40% McCain over Obama.
Hardly an upset.

Louisiana is as bad as Texas.

They should just secede from the the U.S.

The country would be better off.

and take Mississipi, Alabama and Georgia too.
I wish you would secede from P&N and save us the trouble of having to scroll through your BS.

Many feel the same way about you.

Only because you don't like what he's saying. The difference between a Dave McPwned and ProfJohn is that PJ is calm, collected, and substantiates his views with facts. Dave, on the other hand, is a bitter old lunatic whose posts amount to nothing more than puke on a thread.

There are plenty of people here with whom I disagree, but that doesn't mean I want them to "secede from P&N". Dave, however, contributes absolutely nothing but bile and hate. If you're in his camp, feel free to follow him to the nuthouse.

Oh, and for people like Dave who don't consider this an upset, Louisiana's 2nd district has a partisan identification of +28 Democrat. Hitler should be able to win an election in a +28 environment.

 to the people of that district!

Don't start feeling all that good about the voters. The ONLY reasons Cao won is because of Gustov/Ike delaying the general election and Jeffersons inability to raise money to pay the ministers to get out the vote. If he wins reelection with even a half decent turnout he will have performed a miracle worthy of sainthood.

If the election was held on 11/04 like it was supposed to be then Dollar Bill Jefferson would be on the way to his 10th term. Don't get me wrong, I am excited as hell that he lost but the sun, moon and stars all had to align in order for him to lose.
