well saying he borrowed facets from those other martial arts doesn't necessiarly mean JKD is a combination of those.. i mean if i learned, say karate, and i punch you, does that mean i used karate to beat you up? no... i think JKD is more of a philosophy.. there's no set form.. the whole philosophy is just about fighting in the most effective and efficient manner... hit them before they can hit you
