Can't speak to the rest, but I do prefer the Escape to the Liberty. WTF is up with having the window controls on the center console???

By every review I've read, the Liberty easily tops that list as more capable off road.

By every review I've read, the Liberty easily tops that list as more capable off road.

it's still a jeep, and it's still offroad capable, which is more than i can say for anything in that list quoted above.

however, i think i'd still rather have a 4 door golf tdi if i'm going to drive a diesel.
