Today your son has eaten:

2 poptarts
taco bell
2 fruit by the foot snacks
a kitkat

and an apple

Gee, I wonder why kids in this country are fatter than ever.

he is far from fat, see the pic.
Kids grow and need food to eat.

he's not fat now. Wait till he's 25 and has a job sitting at a desk, and you spent 18 years teaching him to eat crap for every meal.

he only eats like that when he is growing. All of his favorite foods are fruits and veggies. And I will put money on him being healthier than most kids out there.

it is like that around here when VeggieFrog is home... and if she brings neosenate with her.. whew.

they eat three meals a day, snacks in between and gallons of liquids.

Not that I mind, but no one here eats at home normally, so it is a huge noticable difference when they are here.

HEY!!!!! i dont eat THAT much!!
i eat five small meals a day, and try to drink my recommended daily 2 litres of water.

thanks for makin me sound like a piggy!

:)

Hahaha!! I am not saying that you are a piggy, Frogster!
But consider this...

Me and wonderboy: cook once or twice a week. I eat once a day. He eats out. we go thru a gallon of milk a week and perhaps a loaf of bread every two weeks. Maybe 2 or 3 bottles of soda each a week.

You and neosenate: eat three times a day and snack in between. drink gallons of liquid a day.

not saying i mind, and i love it when you are here.. but it is just a really noticable difference between when there are 4 of us here and when there are 2.

Miss you, btw
:(

awwww mum!!

Get him to love exercise, too. He'll need it to maintain his health when he is older. He can really cut the amount of insulin he needs and stave off complications.

lol one time my Dad (who likes to tell playful fibs to freak people out) told some coworkers that I was a 15 lb baby (rather than the 7 lbs lbs that I actually was). All these people I was meeting for the first time were saying "your poor mother!". Bad, bad parents!!! ;)

I taught my son that his mom is 45 (she is really 28).

I can't wait til that comes up in a conversation.

HAHAHA :D

He is going to want another snack before he goes to bed too! His bedtime snack is always veggies though.

And no, he is not fat. We actually want him to gain a couple more pounds.

he is the first boy in from the left
