Jeebers..how long does it take to install Orange Box?

Sounds like it's frozen, definitely should not take a couple of hours to get up and running or there would have been a huge backlash...

I know when I installed I had a massive memory leak and my memory usage suddenly spiked over the max. Was so slow I couldn't do anything, maybe the same's happened to you?

I just left mine over night. it seemed like it took forever to finish the first disk. and then the second disk i dont know how long that took. but yeah it takes awhile. but you also might have a problem. who knows. you could always just register it on steam assuming you bought the boxed version and let it download. if you are letting it download. It is a pretty big download.

Even if you get the boxed version you still have to download obscene amount of data, if your connection is not too hot then it would take a while.

It took me 10 minutes, and I have the box version. It sounds like you may have a problem. You could always just let it run overnight and see if things work out.
