Jedi Outcast: texture alignment / artifacts problem

I've noticed that in a couple of levels there are some weird snow-like effects at the seams between textures. It does not happen everywhere, only at certain parts of some levels. Is anyone else getting these effects? Im using a GF3 Ti200 (23.11) with a P4 1.6@2.133. It does not happen in any other games, and its not due to overclocking...Any help is appreciated.

I have a P4 1.7 with Ti 200 card and same driver and no probs here. I would say it's an overclock problem, youv'e cranked up your cpu a bit to much in my opinion I'm sure thats wher the problem lies.

Some games are very sensitive to overclocking...

Is your videocard o/ced..this could produce that ..newer games will stress cards more even with the same QIII engine...

try clocking to default...both video and cpu and see what happens...

could also be a video setting in options that is causing the problem....may tinker there too...checked to see whether texture compression is enabled..32bit vs 16 bit....maybe a setting is not matched correctly....
