Jedi Outcast Help

Hello all,

I have the "Star Wars Best of PC" pack and I finally installed Jedi Outcast but am kinda confused. The manual doesn't explain all of the items - just the basic ones. So I have no idea what some things are... Anyway, what are the supply keys for and where do I use them? Also, what are all of the random storage boxes with lights that look like they should contain items but I can't get them open!?! Some can be blown up , but only a select few. Any hints would be great too as the game is kinda hard - the weapons suck so far, but I have a feeling things more interesting once you get a lightsaber?

Most of the shit that looks interactive, is not. Its just cute colored flashing lights and thats it. There are no "random" boxes. Everything in the game is set.

The storage keys are sometimes used on doors to storage rooms, but mostly little boxes on the floor with a colored flashing light panel on one side.
When you open your first one, take a good look at it, and remember it, because thats what ALL the little storage boxes look like. Exactly like that. All other goodies are found sitting on shelves.

Boxes that can be blown up generally have supplies or passageways behind them. Attack all boxes until you learn which ones are which.

I haven't played Jedi Outcast, but I'm playing Jedi Academy now and the boxes with lights seem to be shield rechargers and something else I haven't figured out. You hit and hold activate and your power meter goes up, if you're below 100.

Jedi Academy starts out with a saber so that's what I use most of the time. I jump around and do flips and sideswipes. I use blasters just for long distance sniping.

Thanks! I just played more and was able to open a couple of the boxes - I think I got em figured out. I can't wait to get a lightsaber. I'm already sick of the blaster
