just tried out the game not to long ago.
made me super motion sickness, but most all 1st person shooters do
except ql quake1! Other then that the game looks sweet, gotta love the star wars intro.

Came to $44.37 with next day air shipping (note: I am in Texas, hence sales tax). This is an excellent deal on an A+++ title.

FYI Raven (JKII developers) made star-trek elite forces; hexen series; heretic series; Soldier of Fortune. This game is running a modified version of the quakeIII engine and has something for everybody.

Sweet thanks. You can get a lapel pin (instead of the t-shirt) if you order direct from lucasarts, but they only offer free regular ground shipping and its $10 more over there. They also have already sold out of the collector's edition. I thought for a few mins about getting collectors edition, but a keychain and a tin box isn't enough incentive for $20 more 🙂
 
crap. i went to order this morning but it had gone back up in price. i didn't notice that it was 12 noon EASTERN time. well, if anyone sees it somewhere cheap again...

Thanks for the headsup. Don't forget the t-shirt thought 🙂 For me personally, I bought those two other games and the expansion to dark forces 2 long ago, when they came out and finished them. Although, now that I think about it, I imagine I could ehgay the other two games (they might even include the dark forces 2 expansion but not tell about it) I might be lucky enough to get $10 or $15 on. Well, I already ordered the regular game so too late.
 
Has anyone's shipped yet? Mine still says processing, I was hoping it'd ship today, cause I have tomorrow off...

well, i noticed that on their 'front' page, it now says "now shipping", and when you go to the product page, the stock status says "usually ships within 24 hours". So if they just received their shipment and are just now able to start processing orders today, then I guess that gives them until tomorrow to ship it.

So, for those of us who paid for overnight shipping, hopefully we'll see it on Friday at the latest. (pleeeeeeeeeeeze 😀 )

Ok, I'm gonna go a little OT, but, is anybody annoyed by the naming of this game???

what I mean is...

first game in the series: Dark Forces
2nd game in the series: Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight
3rd game in the series: Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast

but the 3rd game in the series really should be named Dark Forces III: Jedi Outcast.

BUT...since naming it that way would exclude the name "Jedi Knight", which happened to be an immensely popular game, somebody in marketing probably came up with the idea to call it Jedi Knight II instead of Dark Forces III. It certainly wasn't a techie-type person that made that decision, I can tell you that much...

but I digress.... 😉
