Hi:

I need quick recommendation, mall is closing within an hour...

I do not want Levi's ( I have 2 pairs already)

Nothing that looks dirty.

Nothing that is low rise.

No black either...

How much are you willing to spend? Levi's is your best bet for standard jeans. Otherwise, I would pick something with a nice bootcut or anything non-baggy with conservative design and clean back-pockets. If you're into fashion and you want nice brands with cuts and washes then go for Paper Denim, Earnest Sewn, Seven for all Mankind, or Diesel. They will cost $100-$200+ retail though.

I vote for Gap if you're not willing to spend a lot on designer brands. I've heard they have a nice line of Dry/Selvedge (not 100% if Selvedge) jeans.

For Diesel go to a department store like Nordstrom or Nordstrom Rack even carries them at a pretty decent price. Their selections are limited and if you want to check out the entire line you would have to go to the Diesel store. If you don't have Nordstrom then check Bloomingdales or other big name department stores. If you know your Diesel size then order online @ stores like Eluxury or Revolveclothing but you would be taking a chance since Diesel cut and wash sizing is very inconsistent.

For $125 check out the APC or Nudie line. It's different from Diesel because their denim is Dry/Selvedge and is not pre-washed like Diesel and similar brands. I really want to try their denim line at some point because you the denim becomes amazingly beautiful after wearing it for a couple of months without washing.

I saw Diesel jeans for $99 at Sam's Club on Thursday. I had to look twice because I thought there was some mistake.

For $125 I better have somebody come to my house, measure me up, and make me a pair of pants on the spot.

I haven't paid more than $25 for a pair of jeans in my life.

I've actually seen Sams carry some big designer brands such as True Religion and Joe's...but now Diesel...? Also $99 for a pair of Diesels is too good to be true. The most basic pairs are $120+. 😕

I agree, anything over $30.00 for Jeans is crazy. Levi's are great and they last me an easy year+. I do have about 20 pair though 🙂
If you want to be a clown, just buy some dockers and sway like a bell in the wind! Don't forget the face paint and wig! 😉

Edit: My wife loves what I wear but tried talking me into trying on some Dockers slacks one day at JC Penny........... You know the dong thing in a bell? That's what my legs felt like inside the pants! All I needed was a pair of clown shoes to go with the pants! No thanks! I like my Levi 505 regular fit 33/34. My wife loves my a** in those!

That price isn't too low if it's closeout type stuff. I have bought a pair of 575 Denim for $80 and 7 For All Mankind for $90.

I haven't bought anything, if I get time tomorrow I'll look more into Levi's and GAP... last weekend I have checked both, Levi's is probably best for the $.

My ex states that light-blue jeans is "so 80s", but I like those the most.

Pick up a Maxim magazine. They always have hot jeans/clothes trends in the back. Diesel is really good. True Religion is another great brand, but a bit hard to find. If you have some abs, you can get the low cut, but if you have a gut go for the straight cut.

Why the fvck do you spend $30+++ on JEANS???

I usually get Old Navy's for $15-20. They're great fit. The most I spent on a pair of jeans was a CK outlet store for $40 because they had that really nice slim/metro look.

My GF however spend ridiculous $$ on jeans. She spends like $80-120 for brands like MAVI or some elitist BS.

My last couple pairs of jeans were Wrangler Hero in sort of a cargo style. Got the from wal-mart for like 15 bucks. Usually bozo jeans don't fit well, but these are very comfortable.

I get all my jeans at Kohls. Sonoma Jeans can be had for like $15 on sale. THey are thinner so they feel nice and light and loose. THey wear out a bit quicker but for the price, you can't beat it.

Just a word of advice...no matter what kind of clothing you decide to buy, pick what you're most comfortable with, what you think looks good, and don't follow trends.
