Z1 Star Specs currently have an $80 rebate.. but don't come in a 225/45/15 IIRC.

Yep. That's a mixed bag for me. The o'all diameter of a 205/50/15 Star Spec is a hair bigger, which I don't like, but I'd easily be able to keep my current wheels, which my wallet likes. Not sure what to do.

Sunday? Shit, I would've come out there. Was up there for the weekend and had shit to do for about 4-5 hours on Sunday. Could've AutoXed the Trailblazer :awe:

Should have! There is a local who has a Blazer with a NASCAR crate motor, that is a riot to watch on the autox track.

His name is Butch. He has 5 teeth.

Toyo R1Rs? They come in 225/45/15. Or you could make the jump to R-comps. ;)

I went with the 225/45/15 RS3s mounted and balanced on 15x7 TR Motorsport C1M wheels. I know, I know, that's a little stuffed, but it's still within the rated rim width of the tire. They should arrive at the end of July.

Might have Black2NA paint them candy green... so it'd look like this:

Those are even the same wheels, just a little wider than the ones I got.

Nice. I went with the TRMotorsport C3Ms. I wanted 6ULs but they're $90 a wheel more for a couple pounds in weight savings (and weren't in stock). Was able to get the RS3s and wheels for almost the same price as a set of 6ULs would have cost. Where did you get your RS3s from?

Tire Rack. Rudy told me end of July/start of August for RS3 delivery, which is a few weeks before my next auto-x, so timing is decent. Free mounting/balancing sealed the deal.
