JBWeld-type adhesive for plastics

Is there a JBWeld-type of adhesive that works for high-temp plastics? I need to temporarily repair a crack in a plastic tank on a radiator so I can get it home. It only has to last for a short time, bout a half-hour or so.

Make sure you scuff the surrounding area and wipe it with alcohol. Might even fix it well enough to not need to replace it right away.

I've used JB weld to temporarily repair a crack in a radiator tank. It's better if you let it cure for a couple of days, and also drain down the coolant a bit (or just let it leak!) so that you can get some of the epoxy into the crack rather than just on top of it.

If the crack isn't due to a blown head gasket or similar issue causing higher coolant pressure or acidity, it should last a bit. Check on it, though.

There are plastic epoxies that adhere VERY well to most plastics. Check Home Depot and Lowes.

They take several hours to cure though. Best to let even JB Weld cure overnight.

I think it'd likely due to worn radiator mounts that allowed it to rattle back and forth.
