Welcome back, dear old thread. I was getting ready to reply, then noticed that I already did - last year. 🙂

Try figuring out what type of metal it is in order to have the right weld for it. For instance, there is Mig Welding & tig welding etc. If you find out the type of metal that is going to be welder it would be better.
