What do you like?

I think those of us who like Jazz listen to so much of it, it would be hard to know what your tastes are.

Coltrane, Basie, Satchmo, Ellington, Fitzgerald, Adderly, Lockjaw, McCann et al...

I've been listening to mostly Coltrane, Monk, and Mingus but I don't want my current selections to limit my listening.

Well, I am more into the Blues/Jazz type stuff, and I listen to alot of vocalists as well.

One of my favorite CDs is Lou Rawls w/Les McCann.

I also like artists like Joe Williams (awesome with Basie Band), Jimmy Witherspoon, Eddie "Cleanhead" Vicent, Mose Allison, Louis Prima, Canonnball Adderly, etc. Shall I continue?

Try some of the old Blue Note discs. Hard to miss there. there is a show on TV about them now. IFC or Sundance, don't remember. Lots of 50's and early 60's musicians. Good music, too. Try Dave Brubeck, I haven't seen that name pop up.
