oh ok my favorite track from jay-z ....jeeez thats why I know he's better I can name 5 songs off the top of my head that i'd consider my favorites and never get tired of...

Troll? Yeah, you're so right :roll: Besides, I think there are plenty of other rappers better than Eminem or Jay-Z--out of the two, Eminem is better.
 
just because the OP even made this thread, I am %100 positive the OP voted for Eminem. If you even have to ask this you don't know much about rap at all, and if you are asking this, its pretty obvious you chose Eminem.

Jay Z > Eminem ... thats my vote.

Reasonable Doubt is better than any of Eminem's stuff. I mean Eminem is great as well IMO, his older stuff is 10x better than his newer stuff, but it's just not on the same level as Reasonable Doubt.

so my question to you what aspect of rap are you using to base your decision? production, lyrics, # of hits, accolades, flow, freestyle ?

I agree 100% with everything you said. I sincerely doubt the majority of the folks here have ever heard any jay-z tracks that were not just his club bangers/mtv hits

I agree 100% with everything you said. I sincerely doubt the majority of the folks here have ever heard any jay-z tracks that were not just his club bangers/mtv hits

and as you said, even Eminem himself recognizes jay-z is better than he is. takes a lot of balls to say that, but even Eminem can acknowledge it himself.

Sure its an opinion who's better, but its also a fact 😛

for those that don't know jayz does NOT write his rhymes they are all off the head. Like em sits and thinks about words and phrases and stuff and writes them down.
