Goodnight sweet prince!

Last week of show

Guess list

Monday, May 25: Look for Mel Gibson and Lyle Lovett, who will be making his 25th appearance.

Tuesday, May 26: California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger makes his 25th appearance on the show. He will be joined by country music-great Dwight Yoakam.

Wednesday, May 27: Jay's guests include Wanda Sykes and Sarah McLachlan.

Thursday, May 28: The first guest to appear on the "Tonight Show with Jay Leno" -- comedian Billy Crystal -- returns, as does musical guest Prince.

Friday, May 29: The guests for the last episode of "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" will be Conan O'Brien. 😉

:wine:

Then Conan takes over.

Jay Leno isn't actually retiring though, he's going to be on doing some other bull shit late night thing at 10 o clock or something.

I wish Jay Leno would do a car show.

Me too but they wouldn't pay him enough compared to having another talk show to pay for the maintenance on all those cars.

When Conan takes over, I stop watching the Tonight Show. 🙁

I remember watching it as a kid when Jack Parr was the host, then Johnny Carson, I wasn't crazy about Leno taking over when Carson retired, but he's done a good job. I absolutely cannot stand Conan O'Brien...and will not watch the show.

hell, all the late-night talk shows have just become pimps for whatever newest movie is coming out, some musical group with a new album, etc. anyway...less entertainment, more advertisement.

Well, he kinda does, he has videos on his site. I honestly don't think he would be a good host for the show as I'm too used to the cynicism of Jeremy Clarkson or snappy Richard Hammond... Jay just doesn't have that enthusiasm, and if he fakes it now, it'd be not Jay.

If you watch any of his videos, I don't care how excited he is, or how wonderful the cars are, he sounds as if he's falling asleep.

I think I'd make a good host for the show, feel free to nominate me.

There's always Craig Ferguson, don't know if you've seen him but you may take a liking to his comedy style.

Ugh, I am so happy that Conan is coming back since other then a few of Jay's skits there is no one else on late night that is worth bothering and Craig is easily one or the worst.

When Jay Leno was on Top Gear he did a good job speaking and making his sarcastic comments.

Ah, maybe it's just me. I'm used to the drunken Irishman wit and brilliant gabs; I used to hang out with a bunch of expats that fit the exact description, everyday, drinking. Damn I miss Singapore.

Jay Leno is going to kill NBC shows by taking the 10pm slot. No one wants to watch his crappy show anyway...

I remember that was announced a few months back, not sure if it still possible.

It was great to see Jay on the Tonight Show after so many years. 🙂
