Jaxtr - Free International Calls

I just stumbled across Jaxtr as I'm looking for a cheaper way to make international calls. Supposedly, you can bypass all international fees and call the person as if it's a local number using VOIP. If it works as advertise, that would be a godsend, as I spent $140 in phone cards in the last month. I haven't tried it yet, since I'm reluctant that hidden charges will show up on my phone bill or the person I'm calling. Anyone used it for intl calls? How did it go? How was the quality?
