I have a question about the Porsche line-up.

Whats the point of having the normal 911 and Carrera and Carerra4? Whats the difference between them?

All magazines review the 911T and the Boxter..but none of them ever talk about the 911, Carrera, Carrera4?

911 Carrera - 300HP F-6, RWD
911 Carrera 4 - 300HP F-6, AWD
911 Carrera GT3 - 360HP F-6, RWD
911 Turbo - 420HP, Turbo F-6, AWD
Boxster - 217HP F-6, RWD
Boxster S - 250HP F-6, RWD

I believe you're incorrect in describing the engines as &quot;I-6&quot; implying inline 6, like the BMW 3 series. The Porsches are described to have a &quot;flat 6&quot; or &quot;horizontally opposed 6&quot; or a &quot;boxer&quot;. The layout would therefore be more like a V6 with a 180 degree angle as opposed to an inline 6 which could be descrbied as a degenerate V6 (with a 0 degree angle).
 
Flat 6, I had M3 on the brain 🙂

Besides, I think that the only engines that Porsche has used are Flat-6's, Inline-4's, V-8's, and a V-10 in the new Carrera GT coming up.
 
Are you nuckin futs Valhalla? 0-60 in 4 seconds, 462hp, I would kill to have this car, not impressed my butt, what would impress you?
