Jawbone 2 volume

I'm thinking of getting a Jawbone 2. My main concern is it won't be loud enough. I have trouble hearing things when there's a lot of background noise, so if this thing is even slightly not loud enough for a normal ear, it won't work at all for me.

Also I'm wondering if a store would let me try one out. Make a few calls, etc.

Any advice?

Well since this forum gets so much traffic (hah), I figured I'd update something slightly related to my original post.

I bought a Jawbone (1) from Newegg for ~ $52. I love it. The volume is plenty loud, and incoming and outgoing communication is very clear. I just couldn't justify over $100 for the Jawbone 2 when so many reviews are negative.
