From what I understand (have read), the man was injured in Uniform for the military. I think this is a great way to spend the time in recovery (or permanently if not able to fully recover). I work in a machine/tool and die shop and I see some good work, but the details in this man's work are fantastic. I wish everyone in our shop worked this hard and well!
