Javascript errors after installing Google Chrome

I'm not sure if this should go in Software, or OS, so if this is inappropriate, please move it.

After installing Google Chrome, I get all sorts of javascript errors in IE. I've since uninstalled GC, and installed IE7 (in hopes that it would fix it), but it doesn't.

Sample of errors:
Object doesn't support this property or method
Object Expected

These are on pages I haven't written (CNN, etc) - but javascript seems to work - i can log into gmail, and access other javascript applicationss.

I want to "reinstall" javascript - but cannot seem to find a way. I don't know where to start troubleshooting this because any search returns developer problems, which this is not.

Any input would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I doubt that it is related to Google Chrome, but in IE, go to Tools / Internet Options / Advanced. Make sure you uncheck "Display a notification about every script error". Also, you may want to check "Disable script debugging (Internet Explorer)" if it's not checked already.

Thanks MrChad,
That suppresses the messages, but I still get all sorts of javascript errors - things don't work, etc. Not sure why :(
