How do I type it from the keyboard?

shift-backslash * 2 ? I assume or = ||? That's what I remember from when I did Java, and that is the case in pretty much every language with C-style syntax

It's just the pipe key. Look at your keyboard. It's on the same key as the backslash. http://support.free-conversant...enclosure/pipeKey2.jpg
