Java in Konqueror browser, how do i..............

I found where to enable it that was simple, but where do I find the "plug-in" or what ever is required for java to work with this browser? Is it something that can be downloaded? One more thing, how is the rpm package handler program thing, does it work right? Or should I just bite the bullett and install my nvidia driver manually through a terminal? Another thing on the nvidia driver. The most up to date driver there for mandrake is for 8.0 and they say in the instructions NOT to use any drivers for anything accept the intended version. Will it work with 8.1? Thanx 😀
 
Installing Nvidia drivers from the tarball is exceptionally quick and easy. There is virtually no way you could get it wrong if you read the instructions. That's the way to do, if you ask me. Download them into your home directory, tar zxvf, su to root, make, and you're done, pretty much.
