Java Applets make my windows shake?:/

Hi, I have an annoying problem in Windows XP. Whenever I go to a site that uses java applets (eg yahoo pool😛) my start menu and drop down menus etc all shake like crazy. Anyone know whats up?
This didnt happen in 2k
 
reall funny, mine does too, it goes up and down down like crazy! I have java from sun installed for mu ie 6 browser... not the xp pack. must be a prob for everyone!
