Jason, I miss the "Navigation" at the very bottom of the screen too!

Another thing I'm noticing about the Navigation drop down box is that for any drop down style box, I now have to click on it three times to get it to work (in Firefox).

another navigation issue for me - sometimes the buttons at the top (new topic, my forums, etc) dont work for me. and when they do work, i miss being able to use right click and opening the link in a new tab/window.

Tremendous value for the bottom navigation dropdown. I'd imagine it's just a matter of time before it gets put back.
