It's some movie coming out, I saw the trailer for it in the theatre when I went to see Saw II, looks like it's actually going to be a decent movie.

Looks incredible but I'm unable to get it to run smoothly, though a lot of things won't run smoothly in media player classic and I'm not sure why.

this post makes me feel sad

You know, some movie companies are getting really damn good at making movie trailers. The trailer for this movie is great. I really don't think the movie will be anywhere near as good.

You think it will be that realistic?

FYI Freeper, this movie takes place during the First Gulf War, you know the one that was actually justified? From the reviews I've read they state that the writer(s) of this movie go out of their way not to be political.

'91 Desert Storm, unless you are referring to George Sr.

Sadly I agree, it has all the makings of a get-their-asses-in-the-seats war flick with a couple hot actors and that stupid Jesus Walks song in the promo, I have little hope that this movie will be good.

i hate how they make a marine movie but yet the director made it seems like a freaking army movie.

i guess you have to be a marine to catch how marines are.

the movie is nothing like the marine corps. it's a lot more like the army. it's just basically a story of a marine made by a director that have no clue about the marines. how they act, talk, conduct. they made it feels like an army movie...i dunno.

Jamie Foxx was in the previews I saw at the theater for it, which is why I thought it looked promising. But if they never actually go to war, what's with all the footage of stuff blowing up around him and things on fire in the previews?

it's all hollywood dramatising the story or else it's boring as hell.
