why are they doing it ?
"We want to back up and help the efforts of the Iraqi people to build their government with
their own hands without giving in to terrorism," Koizumi told a news conference.[/quote]

and they are doing this despite a majority of the public against any extensions. this counts
as a great stand on principle for the gov't by booting the know-nothing rabble into the sea.

reuters link - japan extends iraq committment
on the other side:

france - 60 million stuck-up know-nothings - 0 troops in iraq (12 million men fit for military service)
russia - 140 million vodka guzzlers - 0 troops in iraq (30 million men for military service)
germany - 82 million fools - 0 troops in iraq- (17 million fit for military service)
spain - 40 million tomato hurlers - 0 troops in iraq (8.5 million men fit for military service) -although
spain's case was tragically marred by the cowardice of loathsome socialists.

Shhhh.. You'll just rile up conjur and dave.

I'm thinking this has a lot more with getting your troops bloodied than a real commitment. Japan hasn't had a "real" military in over 60 years. I think they just want the practice.

Hey you can add to that list of nations:
America - 300Million little tyrants.......

It's hilarious how full of yourselves you are.

I doubt it. Can't speak for them, but I know when I see people like sissy here make repugnant generalizations like the one above my reaction tends to be somewhere between amusement and pity, rather then getting 'riled.'

LMAO. Now the Bush Fanbois are posting feel good articles about Japan! LOL. Our strong Ally Japan!

So fitting with the anniversary of Pearl Harbor having just passed. Do they give out those little red noses when you post one of these Clown posts? Really scraping the bottom of the barrel Syz.
