She doesn't believe that most of what she did was wrong. The only thing she said was wrong is that she shouldn't have sat on that anti air artillery piece. She thinks the radio broadcasts, telling the airmen they should stop bombing were fine, she thinks that protesting in North Vietnam was fine, she thinks her interviewing american pows for the north vietnamese to give the impression that the pows were treated fairly was fine.
I saw the 60 minutes interview and seems deluded. She said that the reason she went was because Nixon had been in office for 8 years and that he hadn't stopped the war despite the claims that he would. The problem with her statement is that nixon was elected in Nov. '68 took office in Jan '69 and she went to Vietnam in '72, 3 years after Nixon took office and, of course, Nixon didn't serve 8 years. Maybe her memory is fading.
