Bourne. Bond could have been killed dozens of times; in fact, in just about every single movie. The only reason he kept surviving is that the bad guys decided to screw around and go for some sort of clever death, giving Bond a chance to escape. Else, the head bad guy insists that his henchmen bring Bond back alive. These lower on the pecking order, noobs have no trouble waving their pistol at Bond, summoning him to get into a vehicle to be driven to the bad guy's palace/castle/secret lair. There, Bond is kept alive for a couple of days, giving him a chance to get laid by the bad guy's mistress, and then making a bold escape.

Bourne wouldn't fuck around. If he wanted Bond dead, he'd kill him, rather than leave him in a precarious situation, then walk away. i.e. this scene has the gun wave, then has the "let's leave Bond alone to escape" sequence.

Yeah, but who else can get shot or stabbed and somehow completely recover in 3 hours, while simultaneously uncovering half a dozen moles in his department and screaming "we're running out of time!" in their cell phone?
