Locker is faster, has a larger arm and runs a pro style offense. Tebow is bigger, and runs a crazy spread offense with hardly any reads and has a really weird and long throwing motion.

Locker wins.

Locker. This is a stupid question. Tebow might have athletic edges depending on the position you slate him for... it sure as shit will not be QB. Maybe he can be Wes Welker.

UFs offense is completely loaded with reads. Most of their runs are some kind of read.

But Locker should be a better pro QB.

Tony Pike obviously. Oh, he wasn't a choice?

I'll take Jake then.

Locker isn't going pro next year. He'll return for his senior season.

That said, Locker has better throwing mechanics than Tebow so he's already a step ahead. Tebow has a huuuge windup but he can be pretty accurate. Tebow will also likely spend two years learning how to operate from under center.

However, Tebow's tears > Locker's

Neither is going to be good in the NFL.

Jake Locker likely will be the Number 1 pick in next year's draft. Absurd Athleticism (4.5 speed), good size/bulk, cannon arm, operates in a pro style offense. Another year with Sarkisian and I expect he'll greatly improve/refine his game.

obviously if he doesn't improve much this year his stock will fall. But based on how much he's improved as a passer this past year under Sarkisian made him a potential top 5 pick this year because he has all the tools and has shown potential to improve dramatically. He obviously was a very raw prospect, but the only one with real star power.

#1 pick? LOL. He's good. But not THAT good. He definitely runs a decent pro offense though. I call him the more balanced QB of the two and will have more success in the NFL. For example, while Alex Smith was great at Utah, Aaron Rodgers ran a better balanced offense with great throwing mechanics. He's freaking 100% owned on fantasy sports. Stupid niners for not picking Rodgers... Ugh.

It's pretty widely accepted that he would have been top 10 this year, and will most likely be top 3 next year, assuming he continues developing.

Tebow is in the po and Jake is not.

What are you talking about? Jake is with the Tennessee Titans, and has looked damn impressive in the limited playing time he has seen. He had a 99.4 QB rating, threw 4 TD with 0 INTs, and 550 or so yards. He has a higher completion percentage too, but granted with a smaller sample size.

Ask Tennessee fans what they think of Locker so far.

I definitely read the topic of this old thread as "Jake Plummer vs. Tim Tebow" and was very confused for a couple minutes.
