Wow it still hasn't come to a conclusion, the next step could get ugly. Overturn CA death certificate and apply for disability benefits. This could get ugly again.
Poor girl.

And wow part 2. From the previously linked facebook page:
We should all be very afraid of what these so-called medical professionals are capable of. The term "brain death" was dreamt up by some Harvard students with no proof to back it up & it ends up signed into law with one goal and one goal only and that's organ donation. Did you know that when a brain dead persons organs are "harvested" no anesthesia is given to the "donor" and in many cases their blood pressure & pulse rate skyrocket? Thank God Jahi's mother put a stop to their ridiculous bullshit. Jahi will prove them ALL wrong! God Bless Jahi & her family.
Now I'm not a physician but I'd guess that a brain dead person having an organ removed would cause some kind of effect on the body. I wonder if she knows you don't have to opt in organ donation?
If I broke into this girl's room, locked the door and disconnected her from life support.... what crime besides trespassing could I be charged with?

They would simply plug her back in and act like it never happened...She's been dead for a year already, do you think her being off of a machine for 10 minutes is going to change their mind by this point ??
But would she then start decaying? Currently she isn't decaying. If you see the person rotting, then you have to know that they are dead.

This is an interesting question. I wonder how law enforcement & the courts would handle it? I realize that against the law to do stupid things to corpses would that be it and is unplugging a machine violating a corpse?
what crime besides trespassing could I be charged with?
