Up for help. I have JA2 brand new in the box that I'm getting ready to play soon!

Jagged Alliance _2_ plays fine under XP, it's JA 1 that might need DOSBox.

For JA goodness, check out The Bear's Pit forums

Once you've played "vanilla" JA2 I also recommend the JA2 total conversion "Urban Chaos" which has new maps, characters, weapons (Warsaw pact) and a new story.

A great site for the JA fanbase. I wish they'd make a new JA game. Only Sir-Tech could give it absolute justice though.

Last night after I posted I was looking around and I see they are indeed making JA3. Forget its subtitle. Its not Sir-Tech making it though. Some Russian developer I think. The developers are using the Silent Storm game engine and there is a two minute official trailer that shows some game play thats been posted on youtube. An interview posted about a week ago had the developer saying release was 'quite soon'. Not sure what that means time line wise since they didnt elaborate. One rumor @ Bear Pit's Forum is saying Q3 2008 which isnt 'quite soon' in my way of thinking. I'll be keeping my eye on this game to see how it measures up. Anyway, I thought I'd post a follow up on what i have heard so far.
