Seeing how many JA2 follow-ups have fallen apart I'll be letting others take the risk and waiting for some reviews before I buy it.

It's out in some regions though, as there are multiple publishers. There are one or two on the official forum that have made comments about the full game, but nothing all that detailed yet.

I ended up buying it because I did like the demo even though it was hard, plus i needed a new game to play. It's downloading now.

first mission was pretty easy.

I have some items i picked up that I would like to sell but I guess you can't. that kind of sucks because I hardly have any money.

I guess I'll just buy ammo for now, since you only start out with like 1 mag of ammo for each gun.


EDIT: I found that there is an NPC you can sell stuff to.

Now I received an email that said I have items for me at the airport, but I can't see where they are...

just like the demo as far as I can tell.

You can set it to automatically flip to the Plan & Go mode on certain actions, like if an enemy sees you or you see an enemy, if you run out of ammo and have to reload, etc.

I see nothing about fog of war.

The developers have stated many times that they will never implement turn based combat. Fog of war on the other hand, was in the game during development, then removed, and added again but finally removed before release because the developers thought it ruined combat pacing and blah blah blah. Anyway, they are catching a lot of crap about it, so they are saying they may patch it back in as an option.

He means the change from turn based to real time, it's a rather big slap in the face to Jagged Alliance fans, considering this is supposed to be a remake. I've just known about the change for a really long time, so my expectations for the game were already very low. Of course there are plenty of other important features missing as well that can do nothing but make BIA a worse game.
