it's hard to top Kotor i guess.
Jade is still a great game, just the character creation is eh and the game is a little too easy.

You do know you can change the difficulty? I doubt you played it on the hardest setting. 😉

Man this game doe slook great, and I have wanted an Xbox for a while. Could never justify it since I already have a PS2. But I do need a new DVD player for another room in my house. The Xbox is obviously more then a DVD player, but it does fit that role as well. Is now a bad time to get an Xbox? When will the new consoles be out, end of this year, or sometime next year? I know I don't think official dates have been released yet, since technically neither have the consoles, but I am sure someone has some info on expected release date.

Plus I am sure the new Xbox likely won't be as hackable as the old one. Hmmm, decisions decisions. I just wish i could give up games like Ace Combat, Final Fantasy and GT4, then I would just dump my PS2 in favor of the Xbox, but I love those games. But the Xbox has many exclusive titles that look awesome too, Jade Empire included. What do you think?

I like easy games. With a job and 2 kids, its too darn hard to spend quality time on the Xbox.

"This might actually convince me to get an Xbox" <-- Why the heck would you need convincing to get the most powerful console on the market, with fairly consistent high-quality games, and the best online connectivity...? If that's your idea of needing to be convinced for something, then adopting the wheel must have been a hurdle for you... but on to topic:

Jade Empire is probably the best Xbox game I've played since Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic; oh BioWare... I can always count on you crazy Canukleheads to come through for me when I'm in search of gaming goodness.

well you can play kotor on computer, fable is coming out on computer with expansion included. so the only games that xbox has exclusively are ninja gaiden and maybe jade empire.

This game owns KOTOR. Two reasons:
1) It's not Star Wars (thank you for ruining my childhood memories of Star Wars with your prequels, Lucas!)
2) Live combat

I'm pretty sure KOTOR didn't have #2 and if it did #1 will suffice by itself.
