From the interview with Kiss:

JADAKISS: O.K here we go . I challenge 50 right here. You're getting it first . I challenge 50 for a Million Dollars cash on Pay Per View in Vegas. Tha judges can be Jay-Z , Dre . Whoever he wants can be tha judges. A Million Dollars Cash on Pay Per View in Vegas. Anywhere, we can do it in Nigeria if he wants to. A Million Dollars Cash on Pay Per View.

50 still has yet to respond, would you want to be embarrassed publically? If he was smart he would continue to hide in his mansion in Connecticut. lol

I don't do pay per view, but hey I'd actually watch that 😱

Rap battle, holla!

Why are they mad at each other to begin with? And yes, this is all a publicity stunt. Why can't rappers just get along?

/rap music rant on
I think people who are largely into the hip-hop lifestyle are too consumed with how other people perceive them. It's all about being cool, looking cool, acting cool, etc. Being yourself and not caring what other people think about you is cool. Spending all your money on "flash" so others can see how cool you are is NOT cool.

And what about rap lyrics? They follow no form, no structure, they don't even follow a main idea. They just rap randomly about anything they find that rhymes. Disappointing how it's so popular these days.
/rap music rant off

is it me or would these rap rivalries be a lot funnier if they were furiously typing ebonics to each other over aim?

I definitely agree with you there man

I remember when 50 Cent album was released. All I heard was praise for this rap 'artist.' Now that he's big and popular, he's disliked. Why does this seem to happen with many artists/musicians? Why does this not surprise me?

Strange that people actually follow this crap. This rapper is sooooo leet, and he disses on this one and blahblah blah. :rolls;............😛ukes;

i think bill cosby has it right. these rap and hip-hop idiots are killing black culture. these people are making money off of acting like and glorifying pimps, thugs, drug dealers, and just general ignorance and kids are aspiring to that lifestyle. can someone explain how we went from louie armstrong to the temptations and motown to jimi hendrix, all great performers and musicians, to 50 cent, jadakiss, and fat joe?

It's brilliant, isn't it?
On one hand, there's a proud black culture full of promise, dignity, and hope for a better future. They've spent decades fighting to dispel the racism and ignorance of opressors.
Then you've got the minority of trash that gets all the press.
My kids watch this horseshyt on MTV and that's what they think it is to be black.
Disrespect, violence, drugs, and hate. It's not just my kids, either. It's 99% of the population in this all-white rural area, as well as many other segregated parts of this country.
"This be my hoe, get over here beeyotch" is exactly the message these people send to the majority of Americans. (BTW, that's disrespectful in case anyone here hasn't had that pointed out to them)
Is it any wonder why black people get fed the shyt that they do?
I certainly can't respect that culture. I can't respect anyone who doesn't respect themselves enough to display themselves with some resemblance to decency.
Fortunately, I'm old enough and smart enough to know the difference between a "awesome dude" and a man. I do my damndest to explain it to my kids.
It's not a simple battle with the daily reinforcement in media and on the street that black people are not to be respected.

To the OP, read and answer that!

A little off topic, but I'll respond. Yes, it is sad that the media portrays blacks in such a negative light, and chooses to shine the spotlight on "Disrespect, violence, drugs, and hate" with rap nowadays. But the fact of the matter is, people who grew up on hiphop will always love it no matter the subject content, and can choose not to support "fake" artists who exploit and perpetuate the stereotypes (like 50 Cent). I may not agree with a lot of Jadakiss's ideals, but can always appreciate a great/witty lyrical killing, it's highly entertaining. There are artists who do it for the love, you just have to find them and ignore all of the mainstream crap (turn the radio off and the IPod on).

Any intelligent person can discern between stereotypes and real life, the problem is the media who spreads it to the ignoramuses and the artists who rehash the same old ideas just to "get rich". If many of the mainstream artists started making more positive music, then the media would be forced to promote it. You can't have one change without the other in order to break out of the creative "slump" and perpetually stagnant cycle, consisting of the same lyrics with a different beat. I prophesized years ago that "rap" and hiphop would have to eventually blend other genres of music in order to survive, and I think things are slowly progressing to that phase. For example, Jay-Z incorporating Indian beats into mainstream rap. Musically, the beats are profoundly better and more mature but lyrical content (mainstream) has not progressed. Until mainstream rappers ideologically follow creative bellweathers like Nas and Kanye (who I don't care for, but his Jesus Walks was an awesome effort and he is more positive than negative overall) then rap and hiphop will be stuck in its current "rut". The only difference now (versus the past and the advent of this genre) is that the media is hyping it more, and people have become more open to it socially because other genres (such as "rock" and "pop") have all but died out. Hence, the present is really just a conversion phase (of pop/rock fans) and new generation (Y for example, since the population pyramid foretells a present bulge of younger people than older and for at least another generation).

While it has become mainstream, true fans (like me) have been waiting for a new sound and phase to arrive, and I think it's slowly evolving. The "Disrespect, violence, drugs, and hate" will never completely be phased out (there will always be a market for the younger crowd), but I think a more diverse selection in the future will water down the current mainstream trash. So although stereotypes will never completely be dispelled (inevitable byproduct of current state of "rap") , I think positive influences like Cosby, Russell Simmons, Nas, De La, Common, the Roots, and Kanye are starting to spark the evolution. Other artists will eventually follow and the media will be forced to promote the evolution because the genre will have even more fans from the conversion phase (current) and upcoming "Y" generation fans who will demand more (greater % of all music fans will be rap fans at the time of evolution). My "0.50" on the matter....

Good God, grown men actually spending a matter of hours creating a 3-4 minute piece that "disses" the other. How utterly pathetic.

Judakiss did not "destroy" 50. 50 is still alive. Destroying would be running his car off a bridge or something. I guess 50 will respond in kind and "annialate" Judakiss, but then another one will come in to Judakiss' rescue and "murder" 50. It's reminiscent of how I used to play with action figures as a kid. I grew out of it around the age of 12.
You probably know nothing about what we are talking about... did you even listen to the song? Do you know who Jadakiss is? What group he's part of, or where he's from? Just admit you're not up on things, and move on to the next thread.

Quiz for people who actually know what's going on: Who was the last rapper Jada had beef with and came to a draw? Hint: He's part of State Prop 😉

My question to you is...
Why would any self-respecting decent human being want to be involved, know of, listen to, purchase from, or otherwise be related to these scumbags?
Is it a virus or is it some new sort of mental retardation that I've yet to read about?

hmmmm, yet you post in this thread 4 pages deep......dumb ass!
