from story:
Jagger's name, which had been announced Oct. 9 as part of the show, is now gone, gone, gone. The Rolling Stone had been associated with the Washington charity event until yesterday when a press release went out with all the names of the participants. The only one specifically missing from the roster was Jagger. He is clearly not going to be Jackson's Beast of Burden.

Michael Jackson is an ass. He is "taking over" this event in order to promote himself and his own image. From that article, it looks like they weree supposed to be billing people alphabetically, and he wouldn't do it? Then he pulls out some second-rate tune he wrote years ago and labels it "The Official Song of the WTC"???

What a dick.

The "benefit for America" or whatever, that was broadcast on all the networks about a week after the tragedy was VERY well done. They didn't even list the artists' names as they appeared, and nobody was promoting themselves.

Fvck Jackson. :|

I don't know whether or not Jackson's people were behind it but I wouldn't put it past them demanding something like that. Your right about saying it shouldn't be about self promotion and they should just perform in alphabetical order. He really is lame.

I don't understand how he still has fans. Can't people just look at him and judge - I mean you can see his 'inner beauty' through his transparent skin!

If someone accuses you of molesting thier child and you pay them money that means you are hiding something. If I were accused I would vigorously defend my name until my dying breath. His music licks anyway. I just don't understand how people say he's worth the attention they give him.
