If there are any guitar players here, I'd like your opinions on the Jackson DK2FS (http://www.jacksonguitars.com/...DK2FS_Dinky_Firestorm). I haven't played much since college (10 years), so I just need a decent mid-range axe to get me back in the swing. I always liked Jacksons, but its been a long time so I don't know how they compare to equivalent models from Ibanez, ESP, etc., especially since Jackson was apparently bought out by Fender recently. I'd appreciate any advice.

Same here. But as long as it goes to 11, it should be fine. 🙂
 
It should be good. A friend of mine has a mid range RR model and it plays/sounds great. It might be different than what you played 10 years ago but it should still play nice.
