Video at bottom.

Gotta say police regularly disregard rights and think they are somehow above them. Common decency is lost on "law" enforcement . They've been trained to not act human but instead be robotic soldiers who initiate force first and charge you with "resisting". There is a fundamental problem when those meant to protect our rights are the ones constantly abusing them. LEO's have more rights than the individual in all cases yet the only difference between them and a citizen is a costume with a shiny badge. Why?

It's a mistake to believe this. The police ARE NOT in place to protect anyone's rights. This is a common misconception. Courts across the country, going all the way up to the Supreme Court, have repeatedly ruled that the police have absolutely no obligation, legal or otherwise, to protect anyone. It's incidental if the police protect someone, not their primary purpose.

The real purpose of the police is to:

1. Keep the people in line and prevent them from rebelling against the ruling class they serve.

2. Generate revenue for the State.

The police are essentially the equivalent of sheep dogs, whose role is to keep the sheep scared, compliant, and in an easy to manage herd. They are an informal occupying army.

I agree. Maybe I didn't address it as well as you so plainly did but I meant exactly that.

That guy is active duty? More like FAT-ive duty.

And he's carrying an AR-15 with a 30 round clip just in case he encounters a coyote? I've seen coyotes when I'm out riding my bicycle, they are skittish creatures that will go nowhere near a person.
