I just use the frame, either back or front, depending on what I am doing... are you referring to the Sentra or the Max?

on my dads 2000 Max you can jack up the front end right in the middle underneath the grille, there is a lifting point, and then put jackstands underneath each front lower control arm for example, and then for the back of the car, just jack it up in the middle of the soild rear axle and put 2 stands under each side.

bad idea to support it by the rear axle if the car has one. you want to hold the car up by the frame otherwise the springs will still have a load in them making the car unstable.

So did you ever get the car up on stands or did you jsut stare at it all day?
I posted below - i used the ramps I already owned! Given that getting to the car is a hassel (two flights of stairs) I wanted to use jackstands because they're quicker and lighter. I will use them next time once I locate a safe location for them 🙂
