Their web site says ice cream shake but it doesn't say milk shake. It may have a thickener like carrageenan. Remember if the menu says shake but it doesn't say milk shake it isn't a milk shake.

What in God's name are you talking about?

The definition of milkshake is codified by law. If it doesn't meet the definition, it has to be called something else. Like they do with pasteurized processed cheese food, or chocolate flavor.

I most certainly don't care, as long as it's delicious.

Shame is only after 9PM.. I can't eat that much food that late anymore. :(

The web site says 9PM-5AM, they also have big ass signs plastered all over the 2 JiTB's up the street from me that say served after 9PM. I don't understand why they do this, but I guess they have their reasons.

I ordered mine about 7pm. Friend had his for lunch, about 12:30pm or so. They don't have the menu out but seem to have no issues making them. Same price too.

Talk about food coma.

1 of each? That would be quite a feat. This is the internet and I understand you well could be using sarcasm here. But this is the internet and I understand you well could be telling the truth.

I totally forgot I snapped a picture of the menu when I went for lunch the other day. So at least some of you can see what it looks like. The top part of the menu just showed the combo came with halfsies (half regular, half curly fries. That was pretty good, actually), two tacos and a drink.

It's probably the best thing on the menu. It wasn't bad but the sauce they put on the burger part was cheese overload. I'd tell them to leave it off. If they can put thousand island on it, it would be great. But even just regular mayo and mustard would be good.

I need to ask if they just sell the sourdough grilled cheese by itself. Because it was pretty well made.

/agree This is what I'd order if I wasn't so afraid of mad cow.

Unfortunately, it's one of the chicken entrees for me! (I'll have to convince my wife to skip dinner one night so that we can go to JitB for the munchie box when I'm back in California for Christmas)

Sometimes visit the JiTB on Alpha/Preston, though I prefer Whataburger, especially now that they have one on Montfort.

Damn man you live really effing close. I'm over by Parker @ Independence, but work a ton in the Addison area and various law firms up and down the tollway from Frisco to Downtown Dallas.

To OP : those EXACT same Tacos used to be sold at Burger King back in the day, but I think they stopped selling them at some point.

LOL I just looked them up, apparently some stoners are mad and want them back :

Believe me when I say that the BK tacos were a poor attempt to copy JITB's tacos. They didn't even compare at all and anyone that wants those pieces of crap back must not have a JITB in their town.

Eh, I've had them both a few times. I really don't care much for either, which is probably why I couldn't tell much difference. Both were basically mushy grease bags with some crispy portions and the same taste of salt and fat to me. I realize that the fact that I didn't exactly love them might color my view on them a bit. Both are the only 2 for a dollar greasy fried tacos of the exact same size/look that I've come across. I was under the impression back in the day that they might have gotten them from the same supplier.

I'm in DFW, so I might very well be in the biggest JackBox market that exists. They are everywhere, and I often work super late, so I go there maybe two or three times a month.

If you blind tested me I couldn't have told you the difference honestly.
