Nah - the only reason I';m drinking this is because it was left here after a party a few weeks ago. Been in the fridge ever since, well, today I drink maybe once a month, and it's usually only one drink at that.

We don't call every mixed drink "malt". I have never heard anyone refer to any mixed drink as a "malt" beverage. I don't know enough about how they make Jack's Hard Cola to say if it really is a malt beverage or not. It seems to be the popular thing with hard alcohol makes now though.

Mixing cola and Jack is a waste of perfectly good Jack. And that premixed Hard Cola is pure junk, it's mixed about 1/4 as strong as a real mixed drink, designed to appeal to people that want to *look* like they're drinking Jack but that don't have the stomach for it.

It's Jack Daniel's mixed with cola. That makes it mixed, just like that Ice stuff consisting of alcohol mixed with carbonated juice.

I'm pretty sure that Jack Daniels hard cola is like Sminoff Ice, neither are actuatly made with their respective liquors(atleast in the USA)

It truly is a 'malt' beverage. it contains no liquor and no Jack. It's no more than a flavored Zima or a wine cooler classified as a 'malt beverage'
edit: in fact most of the labels say "flavored beer" because they are all malt based beverages.
