here's his stats

This man is on pace for 106 HR's in only 53 games, and an astonishing 159 RBIs. The only man who can hope to stop him is future Hall of Fame Reliever Ambiorix Burgos. Godspeed Ambiorix.

News: Arencibia is not listed in Sunday's lineup against the Rays, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports. Spin: He'll get to reflect on his fine MLB debut Saturday,

You may need to adjust your results.

He's had 5 ABs.

That's not nearly enough data for projections.

You're forgetting that they were consecutive AB's. 106 HR's and 159 RBI's it is, then. You can't argue with SCIENCE, peasant!

Ay, but as consecutive may imply, they were in a single game.

Plenty of .180 hitters have an .800 day.

:(
.153 for the past 10 games.
The post-ASB numbers are even more depressing, they were 8-80 a few days ago, but that was before he finally homered again.

Anyways, obviously everyone knew he wasn't a .340 hitter. His BABIP is starting to come back down to where it should be, and if he can finish the season at .280 with power, it'll still be an awesome rookie season.

I thought we were done with the whole "on pace" threads we saw at the beginning of the season.

I think this may be why I felt so confused at the beginning of this thread. I never saw those.

Super-delayed parody thread?

Ah, reminds me of Chris Shelton, circa 2006. He hit 9 home runs in the first 13 games of the season. Then was playing AAA ball by August.

A single consecutive game. This just adds more iron to the scientifically ironclad proof that he will hit 106 HR's and have 159 RBI's this year.

Why must you continue to doubt SCIENCE?

On a totallly unrelated note, how's that aspergers treating you? Still not picking up on all those basic clues in social interactions so painfully obvious to the normals? ;)

My favorite chromosome was acting up today. ;)

Your posts I understood just fine. Though I did ignore the last line of the one I replied too, until I submitted and saw it.. and ignored it again. ^_^

OP simply broke my meter.
