He would have to prove it was legitimate rape that led to Vance being on the ticket.
That's a really bad look if he were to replace his VP even if it's legal to do so.
Hope he doesn't/can't, this guy may have singlehandedly lost Trump the election with his childless cat lady comment--IF he gets the hordes of Swifties up in arms. He was dumb enough to say that, granted it was 2021 or so, but he'll probably say more stuff like it. And I'm not even kidding, it's a bit scary that a pop culture figure has that much potential influence but as long as it helps stop Project 2025 I'll take the help.

Honestly I think part of it is if or when Trump loses in an overwhelming & unquestionable manner they can blame Vance instead of saying “maybe our positions don’t attract voters we want”

Is it even possible to force someone to stay in a race for office. I would assume Vance could end before the election. Even basic stuff is it possible to force someone to take an oath of office.
Trump could pressure Vance into resigning, upon which the RNC have a rule allowing for a replacement to be chosen somehow, I would think. Vance is a sycophant though, so he won’t.
Lol! .... Here's a good one: An announcement that Vance was going to rehab. And the Trump team leaking something about an opioid addiction and Vance needs to step down to take care of it. Vance gets sent off on a nice little “vacation,” and Trump gets to pick a new running mate. Then they can also pivot to how opioids are destroying hard-working middle American families and Democrats are at fault.
