Iwill XP333 not in harmony with Plextor24X

Just recently finished my setup, unfortunately the mobo has problems recognizing the plextor. No problems for my pioneer dvd though. Anybody else with the same problem? I've seen something on their website of a bios upgrade that should improve ide compatibility. I wonder if those are the solutions. If yes then, how do I flash my bios? I can hardly understand their english.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
 
The 0118 BIOS helps with CD/DVD drive compatibility. It hasn't fixed the problem with all drives. As for flashing the BIOS, download the update, unzip it and read the readme file. It is alot easier to understand than the directions that they give online.
