Iwill xp333 makes AMD 1.0 to over 1.53

Me doth think thou art a liar and full of doggie-doo.

I highly doubt you have a successful 530MHz overclock. Even with liquid nitrogen cooling, I doubt you'd have that high of an overclock.

Thank you for playing; next contestant please.

Um...shows how much you know about the 1.0GHz Athlons. Many people have been able to get a 50% overclock out of their 1GHz Athlon CPUs, mostly with the AXIA 1GHz Athlons.

Overclockers.com has a database for the CPUs, the average overclock is 1344MHz out of 1065 entries and hundreds of of those entries claim around 1500MHz (some cases even to 1800MHz). I'm sure the average is lower because many people posted overclocks and they were not so agressive as to risk pushing for the 50% overclock, although an average of 1344MHz is pretty high.

Oh, and many of those that stuck around the 1500MHz mark only needed a decent HS+fan combo. Those that pushed to 1800MHz needed watercooling or better.

larciel's post could be a lie, but a database where hundreds claim about the same thing, I doubt they all are lairs. And the Iwill XP333 is no slouch when it comes to overclocking.

My Iwill XP333 will take my 1.33AYHJA to 1638(156x11) with plain old Crucial PC2100, but is isn't stable. I run it at 1503(167x9) all day long rock solid. I would be willing to bet that with better RAM I could crank the FSB up and get over 1600MHz stable. Those 1G AXIA's are known for there OCability, so I wouldn't call the guy an outright liar unless he couldn't provide a screenshot of WCPUID. These XP333s can do some amazing things.....400MHz FSB is not unheard of.

My Iwill XP333 and the previous Abit Mobo it was on does/did my AYHJAR 2nd line Y square @ over 1.53GHz with an air cooled Copper HS ... so welcome to the few and proud crowed 😉

Yes a lot of 1 ghz Axia and AyJHa did go upto 1.5-1.6 with air cooling alone. compuwiz1 had a lot of those for sale through his store. I wish his store was still around to sell unlocked XP's..

IMO, those Athlon TBs 1 Ghz (AXIA) are the best, very OCable! 🙂
I have seen quite a few ppl hitting 50% of OC on these cpus(1Ghz AXIA).
You might push a little bit and get a few more Mhz from this cpu, since you have a nice mobo for OC.

Good luck!
